Gunslinger

I’ve just gotten back from an exchange in Germany, and already I’m looking forward to playing a show with my band, McSon, again.  One of the best feelings and experiences in the world for me is to be on stage with friends and to be able to play to an audience.  The cheers and applause from the crowd are intoxicating, and is the main reason why I continue to play the drums.  Here is our original song, Gunslinger, performed at Lee’s Palace, a venue where many of my heroes (such as The Foo Fighters) have played.

München

If you’re wondering where the picture from my header came from, I’m in Munich, Germany during Oktoberfest 2014, and it is just as advertised. We stayed in a campground with teepees, air mattresses, and unlimited beer for 5 days while we found lederhosen and fellow Oktoberfest-ers. When we finally hit the bierhaus, we were surrounded by 1-litre mugs, giant pretzels, and thousands of fellow tourists and locals. Check that off the bucket list.

601

One of the differentiating aspects of Schuich is its 601 project, a “comprehensive and in depth strategy study” where we are tasked with learning as much as we can about a company and the industry it lies within. We are then asked to make recommendations based on our research, our past experiences, and our current education. My group is focused on the yoga industry, and would appreciate if you could take the time to complete the survey. Thanks!

Skydiving

In 2010, I decided to pack up and backpack around New Zealand and Australia for 6 months.  During that time, I learned a great amount about myself and about what I am capable of.  Besides being able to experience another culture, I was able to tackle a few things off the bucket list.  Here I am in Taupo, New Zealand, jumping from 15,000 ft.

The Crunge

A few years ago, I was in a Led Zeppelin cover band.  We had some great memories, and this is definitely one of them.  We were invited to play Sarnia Bayfest 2011, and to be the opening band on the first day.  Here we are playing, “The Wanton Song”, by Led Zeppelin, the same night that KISS headlined.
